so.. I updated the firmware about a month ago when it was first available.. My device is completely stock and i'm not really ready to root nor factory reset it. I reset it before due to an error on the backup assistant screwing with my external sd card (the real issue was the copy and paste error some devices were faced with). I've been through about 4, 32gb externals and the latest sandisk just sent me.. is bad too.
But, that's not the issue i'm getting at. Since the lastest firmware update with caller ID, etc.. I've had little to no signal, dropped messages in my house, completely dropped 4G LTE while using GPS.. horrible due to some areas I was in.. slow or lagged device to the point where i've had to restart my device 3-4 times each day in the last week...
Can someone either tell me if there is a quick solution to this or what the next step should be in this process. because this whole "we've retracted the update but are looking into a fix" bs isn't very settling. Since, on Verizon's time.. I'm afraid the next update won't come for a few months..
