Any word on OS 5.0? I sure hope that it is available for the Pearl Flip!

Rumors are that release date is very near.

All 4.6 and up OS will get a 5.0 overhaul.

I would be very suprised if the 8800 series, 8300 series, or 8200 series would get OS 5. It's a pretty demanding OS hardware wise. I have a feeling those devices with 4.7 will be the only ones to get the upgrade.

I wish there was a better way to search on these forums. The 5.0 OS will be on the 8330 because it has enough memory to run. It is the only 8300 series device to get it. The 8830 will not as it does not have enough memory to support 5.0.

I have heard that it will be available for the Pearl Flip 8230. I hope that is the case.

It has to be close. I have been running it on a 8330 and the 9630 with no problems.
