10.3 looks like it has some really nice features. When is Verizon getting the update?
First, current BlackBerry phones, except Passport and P9983 will not see an official 10.0.3 in any version.
After release of the Classic, at some point we will get a version of 10.3.1, mostly depends on how fast the carriers are.
Most in USA are slower than a snail crawling across salt.
100 percent correct. However, with a little Google searching and a few minutes plugged into the computer you can load a leaked version of both 10.3 or 10.3.1. It's really simple to do. I'm currently running 10.3 on my Z10 with zero issues.
A new leak of 10.3.1 was just outed today on N4BB.com
As for 10.3.1, stick with 1016 for now. Newest 1151 seems to have caused some problems for many.
BBM, Clock, Whatsapp and many others do not work. Hasn't affected everyone, but it did quite a few, including myself.

I know that leaks are available. I am just not willing to take the risk. I was hoping that I would not have to wait that long for a legitimate update...Oh well...
Since Verizon isn't selling either of the newest BlackBerry phones yet, Passport nor Classic, I don't think we will see any OS upgrade until they start selling at least the Classic.
10.3.1.1154 is running like a charm on my Z30.

Just had a chat session with VZW rep - and she was very helpful. Said they got the update on June 16th, and are rolling it out in "spurts." Not sure how long until I see it, but am at least happy to hear it's being rolled out now.
That is good news. However I do not understand why they would not just roll it out to everyone...

You can not just overload support like that. And remember, you already paid them. There is no money in giving you the update you need. You like me, need to wait your turn. My buddy is on At&t, he just got the 10.3.
Do we have any further update on when Verizon will roll out the 10.3 update for the BB Z10? I can't understand why they can't publish a schedule that will show the estimated dates for the push to various devices...seems like that would be simple enough to do.
Are they literally rolling this out state by state and device by device? I'm seeing some people in other states getting the update now in the BB forums...
Mine is downloading right now to my Q10. Checked updates via Software Update, and it started downloading automatically, said it's a "mandatory update."
Did you just go in through regular chat on Verizon site? I would like to get some kind of a read on when they will be pushing it out for the Z10!
I opened Software Update in the Settings section of my Q10. The download started automatically. Looking at the CrackBerry site, it looks like VZW is rolling it out at some mysterious schedule. I'm in the Chicago suburbs.
Some users on Crackberry reported getting Z10 updates more than a week ago, many others are still waiting. Maybe they are rolling out by zip code, or phase of the moon, or inverse average summertime temperature on Tuesdays, or any other such logical schedule.
Of course corporate policies prevent sharing of any useful information with users, so we will never know. That would only lead to informed customers, and nobody wants that! :smileyhappy:
They behave as if they prefer to use up Customer Service resources answering forums, chat requests, email questions, etc. As more customers get angry, they start complaining online and/or switching carriers, and none of this is good for VZW, but, as I said, they do not seem to care. Maybe we all need to start flooding them with requests to see if they can take a hint.
Downloading 10.3.2.556 as we speak for my Z30. Central PA here.
Opened up settings on my Z10 and it automatically started updating. 10.3.2.556, it's taking a long time to install though! Lansing, MI area.
I also went to my setting and then the new up date started to up date. I am in the Houston/Katy/Cypress Texas area. I have a Z-10 and awaiting the new Blackberry (Vence) hopefully in November or December.

I just received the automatic update this morning. I It is taking sometime to load though. But finally. I guess the poster that stated a Verizon rep said they would be releasing it in intervals was correct.
