I want to buy a Nexus 6P from Google. Will Verizon allow me to go into a store, get a nano sim, and resume my current Verizon service on said Nexus 6P?
I walked in the store they activated my phone just make sure you know how to locate the imei on the phone.
Yes. I did just that with my Nexus 6 last year.
