for the last few weeks on my S6 when I use google voice it freezes and I have to restart my phone to get it off the screen

Not sure if there any recent updates my phone update everything
automatically. But sometimes it freezes the app and sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes it responds to my voice sometimes it doesn't. Now I'm writing
this with it and it seems to be okay right now.

Icmbjm, that is very strange. We will find a resolution for you so you can enjoy the features. Let's clear out the cache/data on the Google Voice application. Settings>Applications>Application manager>All Tab>Find Google Voice application>Clear cache/data and Force stop. Let us know how it works.
