Is it just me or is 4G/3G down in San Francisco for last few hours? I cannot connect to either. Have restarted, taking out battery, etc. I have a Samsung Droid Charge.

Hi Simonspooner,
Since posting, are you now getting a 3G or 4G signal? Please let us know if you are back up and running, thanks!
I noticed it shortly after 10PM also when returning ZipCar... but as of now 120AM, it is back up!
Down for me in Sunnyvale / San Jose.
Last night at about 10pm I lost all connectivity (1xrtt, evdo and LTE) didn't come back before I went to bed at about 1:30am.
This morning I have EVDO data only in two locations. Not LTE.
Diags say LTE signal not available.
Called verizon, they say no alerts or network notifications in this area, and yet still at two different locations it's not available.
I had the chap file a network trouble ticket.
Ive only had this mifi device two days and so far LTE has been unavailable for 50% of the time.
Even when it worked I see the TCP segment lost problem on certain websites.
Seems that either the network, the device or both are not ready for prime time.
Even the tech on the phone told me they have lots of LTE problems because it's so new. So, I'm basically BETA testing LTE for Verizon wireless at a cost of $80/month to me.
Not a happy camper so far, maybe it'll get better over the next few days.
