The 4G LTE indicator on my Thunderbolt lit up sometime yesterday in at least southern Camarillo and Newbury Park. Travelled to North Camarillo and Oxnard and fell back to 3G. Haven't ventured further south/east into greater Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills etc.
Finally! Can't be long for the rest of Ventura County now.
It's apparently in Oxnard now, too. I just noticed it when I went to Wal-Mart about an hour ago. I'm hoping it reaches Ventura tomorrow, if not later today.
I had 4g in Westlake Village and Moorpark yesterday most of the time. Today it has been solid 4g. Hope it's here to stay. It's not as fast as I thought it might be.
While getting 3 of 5 bars here in my office at work (in Camarillo), the Speedtest.net app indicates 3981kbps down / 2890kbps up. Seems reasonable for 60% signal strength. Will have to re-test when I'm getting the full 5 bars.
I have 2 of 5 bars on my iPad3, and 2 of 3 bars on my Motorola Xoom here in oxnard.
