I'm using a Verizon Network Extender model SKU: ASK-SFE116 in a congested area with poor service. We have around 10 numbers that NEED access to this extender, but at times up to 20+ devices are trying to connect which is causing CPU overload errors on the extender, dropped calls, and users cannot connect. I've spent over 3 hours on the phone with Verizon technical support, elevated to specialists but they are clueless on how to add the device to My Verizon so I can log in and manage the modes (open, closed, hybrid). Using the MAC they see the device registered under my number, but are saying it cannot be added to My Verizon and their is no way to manage user group modes. I can access the device using the IP to log in as administrator directly to the extender, but this only gives access to the devices error log, current number of devices connected, peak number of devices connected, GPS, and transmit/signal db strength.

Natasha, how about finding out for the dozens of other customers experiencing this same issue just why our 4G LTE Network Extenders are NOT visible on our My Verizon->Account->My Devices->Device Overview web page? Then we could surely 'rest assured'!!!!

I think Verizon is having a problem allowing the config files to be accessed over the Internet. I used to be able to change my router mode to 'Closed'. I wanted to add my work phone to the router. When I tried, all I would get was 'an error occurred, try again later'. I've been trying for over a week. I can change the name of the router, but nothing else. Verizon support had me pull the power, they removed the MAC, then had me power back up. Now, it's back in 'OPEN' mode again (so my entire neighborhood can use it as their cell router, and use up all my Internet bandwidth and data). When I go to the website to change it back to 'Closed' mode, the 'Edit' option no longer exists. Nice. I at least decreased the transmit power to 50%, which covers my house and yard but not the entire neighborhood. When do you plan to move the config files for this (removed) option locally to the router? Why do we have to use the Verizon site to manage a device in our houses??? My cable provider doesn't even have access to the modem in my house. Come on guys, hire a programmer that knows what their doing.
