My tablet is not recognizing my wireless signal from my 4G Mobile HotSpot app. More specifically, the tablet won't/can't obtain an IP address. It looks like there is a connection but it just states "obtaining an IP address from" my phone then after a minute it stops then retries again.
The tablet does connect to my home network.
I just added the HotSpot service to my account 3 days ago and I did receive a confirmation email stating that it was active.
I do have a 4G signal here at home, though it was 1 bar when I was trying this.
Any suggestions?
Btw, not sure if this the right spot to post this. New to the forum. I am sure some moderator will move it to the right discussion thread if needed.

Edwalsh, thank you for posting and welcome to the community.
What model phone do you have and what tablet do you have? Are you able to connect other devices to your Mobile hotspot? Try first powering the phone off/on, then turning hotspot on again. If still not connecting, you can go into the Mobile Hotspot settings to change the security type and/or channel and test to see if your tablet connects.
