A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -
Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part? Not a word from Verizon. No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum? I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update? Going on 15+ hours since this started? That's ridiculous.

Regarding the "$2 refund" I would be seeking - it's not at all about the money - it's the accountability. Why wouldn't every customer affected by this expect their bills to be related to the availability of the service, that this service provider is giving us (just not at the moment...), in exchange for money?
Still no answer, no one is getting answers, and it's only getting worse if this is now creeping sideways to the midwest currently. That clearly shows the problem is getting worse, not getting fixed.
Hey Verizon, HOW ABOUT A HINT HERE? This topic is approaching a thousand views, that's a lot of angry people left in the dark.

Mine is out, too. Had 3G for a while, now nothing. I saw it try to get 1X then fail. They should give everyone a credit. We already pay alot for this serivce.

I thought it was just me before I did a quick google check and found this. It must be some serious issue with Verizon as I am in the Los Angeles area (work in Santa Ana) and I see complaints from...well, everywhere!
My Droid Razr had been perfect since Saturday (when I got it) until this afternoon. I am getting no data (even switching only to CDMA) on 4g/3g, but the phone/text still seems to work. The strange thing is that my wife's Iphone 4s (also on Verizon) seems to be working perfectly.
What gives? Not a single statement from Verizon? Even a simple notice on the front page of their website? Shoot, even my lousy cable company will let customers know that they're at least aware of issues.
Now, I really regret switching to Verizon...wonder if it's too late to go to Sprint (or even...*shudder* back to AT&T?

Out here in Livonia, MI too. Same error message. Customer service said no credit for individual outage, but perhaps they will issue a credit to all once the outage is repaired.

Completely lost 4G service here in Aiken, SC around 2pm EST, 4G Data & Mobile Hotspot worked fine this morning until around noon, then it started bouncing back and forth between 4G & 1X, been stuck at 1X ever since 2.

We live in NH. 3G country and yesterday lost both 3g and 1X,on the phone 3 times over 3 hours with Tech support they sent down to the local Verizon store.
Then Tom the Manager screwed up my phone so bad even the phone wouldn't even dial out.. I vote Tom the Manager, Prick of the year Award for the Concord NH 03301Verizon Wireless Store.. If you look up Arrogance there's his picture..
Back to Tech support this morning and at least they got the phone back and Data is hit or miss.. No one even mentioned the whole time.. I finally googled @ noon time and found over a thousand hits on LTE outage.. Where’s the Can Ya hear me now guy now?

Las Vegas, NV has been down for about an hour now. Neither my Charge phone nor my Pantech UML290 3G/4G modem can get a signal and my area usually has STRONG 4G signal. BTW, no 3G either. It's coming West!

I completely lost service on my Droid Charge around 1:15pm Central Time in Minnesota. It connected once around 1:30 but since then there has been no signal. Disabling 4G does not work, there is no 3G or 1X even.

I lost service in the Houston area around 1:00 this afternoon. Calling customer service at *611 gives a recording of something along the lines of "We are aware that some customers in your area are having issues using their 4g device. We are already working to resolve the issue." I didn't feel like waiting on hold to ask any questions.

We lost 4G about 20 minutes ago, here in central Iowa. 3G is slow to establish and our wireless NICs are running as if they were in legacy mode. Some websites won't connect at all before timing out. 4G wasn't running very well yesterday afternoon and evening, but it was there. Lucky for us, we still have our HughesNet Satellite service. It's slow, but it doesn't time out.
