4G Service - Still Out Across the Nation?

A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers.  I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -

Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part?  Not a word from Verizon.  No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum?  I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update?  Going on 15+ hours since this started?  That's ridiculous.

It went out in Reno about 30 mins ago... but now my 3G keeps going in and out...still waiting for my 4G!!!

Central Coast, CA... service has been out from 11:30 pacific and still no signs of 3G or 4G service

My service has been off and on (mostly off) since about mid-day. I'm on Droid Bionic in the Los Angeles vicinity. We usually have pretty good 4G coverage here.

Just moved to Verizon from T-imMobile, bought 2 DROID RAZR phones and all the fixin's.  no 4G all day, not a very good first impression.  At least i still have a few days to return everything and cancel my service.

Still no 4G..... so glad I pay a {word filter avoidance} to have unlimited data that I cannot use...not to mention its costing me money because I use my phone for work....been with Verizon since it was primeco....I'm a shareholder in the company that merged with primeco to make Verizon..and what does customer service tell me when I call to ask about the loss of coverage.."we're sorry for your ..inconvenience..but we can't help you at this time" i missed out on 3 clients today..they should give us at LEAST a credit on our bill..but will they? HA

Despite assurances to the contray (and in addition to the 4G outage) there is no 3G or 1X coverage in downtown (Financial District or SOMA) San Francisco.  Voice and SMS work fine.

got my coworker over here laughing at me because he has great coverage on his Criket phone...... I mean come on..really? they wont give any answers but the second your bill is a day late they blow up your phone every half hour.... nice)

Judging from some of the posts on here I guess I should consider myself lucky to have a 3G connection. I get emails, and my Friends Stream and News Feeds are updating. Still been without 4G since yesterday afternoon. And it sounds like the problem is now nationwide, whereas last night VZW was telling me it was "limited" to the northeast.

I'm in Milwaukee, I can make calls and get 1x, but I have to set up my phone to do so by manually changing the Motorola tower preferences. I don't have 3G or 4G in the Milwaukee area. I have a 4G Motorola Droid Razr.

Is there a place where Verizon posts outage status reports or are we just left to guess what is goin on? Still no data service of any kind as of 1439 hrs PST. This will be the third outage in about a month. Nations most reliable 4G network? NOT!!

I have the HTC Rezound and my 3g and 4g are gone as of about 1:30 CST still nothing...which is odd seeing as my brother has the incredible..and he still gets 3g...im at 1X at best    {please keep your posts courteous}

Provo, UT no 4G, no 1xRTT, but have EVDO this morning. Intermittent problems started two days ago here.

4G seems to be back in NY .  woke up this morning, checked phone, and was getting all 4 G's.

Around 4:30 EST, I got 3G back on my Samsung Startosphere. It stayed solid for about 10 minutes before getting a 4G connection. It lasted about a half hour. I then went to a low-service area where even phone doesn't work, and when I came back, I got 3G with verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slow connectivity.

Considering that this was the longest amount of service in 26+ hours, other than the few times I was in areas with WiFi, I'd say it is an improvement, but only a tiny one at best. And of course, VZW still is communicating little or no information.
