A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -
Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part? Not a word from Verizon. No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum? I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update? Going on 15+ hours since this started? That's ridiculous.

1 – Menu, settings, Wireless and Networks
2 – Mobile Networks, Network Mode
3 – CDMA only
4 – Back out of menus until you get to your home screen (or
hit home button).5 - Go to the
ThunderBolt’s phone dialer. Enter ##778# and hit Send.6- You’ll get a pop-up
labeled EPST, with the choice to “View Mode” or “Edit Mode.” You want “Edit
Mode.”7- You’ll be asked for
a password. It’s 000000.8- Now flip down to “Modem
Settings,” and then choose “Rev. A.”9- Change the Rev A setting from "eHRPD" to “Enable,” hit OK, and then press the Menu button on the phone and tap
“Commit Modifications.” Phone will reboot and should be ok.
or......use the "LTE OnOff" app and set it to "cdma auto (prl)" (if you have the app. if you don't i'd recomend getting it when you can access the market again)
FYI....LTE is up and running in phoenix. i never lost 3g during the day.

Funny how verizion has time to talk to the media but not their own customers on the support forum.

finally up in minneapolis.
Verizon's lack of response to this issue is unacceptable, especially as a new customer. at this point i am considering returning everything and going back to T-imMobile, their service sucked but at least they had something and from what i have seen so far their customer support was extremely better than Verizon's. very disappointing.

Just get the new 4G phone a week ago. Now no data service with 4G in NYC since yesterday. Verizon did not say anything. Went to the store thinking it was problem with the phone only to find out the it was the 4G network down since yesterday. Within 5 minutes, another customer came into the store asked the same thing. No information from Verizon at all.

Brought my new RAZR home on Saturday, spent the weekend getting it set up just the way I wanted. Tuesday mid-afternoon got the sim card authentication error. Called Tech Support, went through two techs to finally be told the sim card was bad and needed to be changed. Went back to store Tuesday night, they replaced sim card, couldn't get phone working. They called Tech Support and were told it was an 'outage' and a new card wasn't going to fix it. So they put the 'old' card back in which totally put my phone out of commission. Wednesday at 5:30 a.m. I was having my env3 put back on line so that I would have a phone. Went back to another store during the day, and had yet another new sim card put in. I can finally make/receive calls, but yesterday there was problem with my 'Google' and today it is my yahoo accounts, so I can't do diddly! I am a 16 plus year Verizon customer and not amused at the moment.
No two people that I have spoken to with Verizon have the same information. I am going to hang in and hope they get this fixed, but I've waited a long time to upgrade to smartphone and for it to start off like this is not a good sign!
