A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -
Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part? Not a word from Verizon. No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum? I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update? Going on 15+ hours since this started? That's ridiculous.

Text messages are via the phone service not data service. So as long as your phone service is working you can still send and receive text messages.

I am in Michigan , On the border of Toledo Ohio and I have no data. I have been having data problems ever since i became a 4g customer a year ago . Always having a problem between signals. Never a smooth switch between the 2. Verizon says i live in a covered 4g area which i also show , and i do have that if i stand in the right spot. Have not been very happy about it but i am happy with the plan and phones. Only reason i am not leaving. Not one person has done anything about this , oh wait 18 people have told me its the phone 'ill send you a reeplacement" what a joke... If someone sees this and wants to do their job ill be happy to let you look into it.

I'm in Denver, CO
Service went out at 1am MST - it's 5am MST and still no data.
How does verizon plan to compensate us? This is kinda rediculous.
So yeah - it doesn't seem to be regional- this is nationwide
