4G Service - Still Out Across the Nation?

A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers.  I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -

 

Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part?  Not a word from Verizon.  No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum?  I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update?  Going on 15+ hours since this started?  That's ridiculous.

Thanks.  Sorry. I didn't realize we were strickly just talking data. I'm new to VZW.  I didn't realize it was data only.  I thought this was a complete outage.

4G is sporadic in Greater Boston.  Had to set my phone to CDMA only this morning to get any internet at all.  At the moment 4G is up in downtown Boston, but we will see if it lasts. 

 

It would be good if Verizon would just tell us they are having an issue.  This is very reminiscent of what happened a couple of weeks ago.  That took 2 days to get solid.

Richmond VA area.  No 4G network.  3G comes and goes.  Very disappointed in the Verizon 4G network.

My Galaxy Nexus just spontaneously rebooted itself... afterwards I now have 4G again.  Not sure I like the device spontaneously rebooting itself when I'm using it.

phone shows 3G is on, but no 4G.  running pandora now....lets see how long it lasts!

 

EDIT - 4G came on about 10am.

seem to be getting 3g in Arlington VA, but no 4glte - used the setting to nail it to 3g only to get 3g service.  man that little app (LtE/onoff) is still handy

In No Illinois - 4g out since at least 4:30.  3g briefly worked until about 5 minutes ago... for an hour. Back to nothing.

Very slow 3G in Savannah, GA.  I turned off 4G for now (CDMA Only) so that it wouldn't keep cycling to 1X or no data connection at all.  Very frustrating.

1x most of the morning with spotty 3g. No 4g at all earlier.  Now, at 10:17am, no service whatsoever.
