A quick Google search shows tons and tons of angry customers without 4G service that just aren't getting answers. I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone last night, first with a tech rep who thought I should just turn it on and off and remove the LTE sim card, before sending me to someone who knew what he was doing, that essentially did nothing but make me do the same thing, and then tell me he was alerting the "Network Team" -
Still nothing back, still no 4G service, but the worst part? Not a word from Verizon. No official announcements, not even on their own discussion forum? I get if they don't want to look bad for potential new customers but come on, you have how many thousands of people without service now and NO update? Going on 15+ hours since this started? That's ridiculous.

Have you check your area on the map at http://network4g.verizonwireless.com/#!/coverage

What would checking the coverage map do for an outage? I already said we have had 4G since September 2011. By the way the coverage map has shown that we have been 4G since November

if there's an actual outage then there's nothing you can do.....but if there isn't, then the problem is with your device. i think that is what wildman is getting at.

It could be possible that you was going through what I noticed, even without official notice I had 4G in some areas months before it was official and the connection would vanish from time to time because it wasn't officially released and I was wondering if there was a official update that the area has been switched on....
Also as for the outage situation, like AZSALUKI said there isn't anything you can do other than report it to Verizon.

I solved my 4G problem. I moved my MiFi card North about 25 feet in my house and 4G has been on ever since. I moved it back to where it was yesterday just to see what would happen and it went back to 3G. I didn't know the signals were that sensitive. So I will leave it in it's new home and 4G happy.

I think most people need to understand that 4G is relatively new even though it's been out for about a year. I remember when 3G was the biggest shit out there when it first came out. Problems were happening frequently on it just like today except on 4G. The coverage back then for 3G was just as terrible and not to mention unreliable back then as 4G is today.
How long did it take for for 3G to be available how it is today? Years. That's right, years. >Edited to comply with TOS. Please keep your posts family friendly< Until then, I'm going to stick it out until Verizon improves their coverage. It will take years, but do you think the other carriers are going to do it just as fast if not faster? I don't think so.
I'm not taking sides here either and yes it does **** me off when 4G coverage drops 50 times on me a day. It's even worse when I got from 3G to 1X. Complete crap. I'm glad most of us can fall on 3G because it can be worse, some countries are still using CDMA signals. Also, for those who get the 4G coverage, be fortunate it's LGE instead of fail Mobile WiMAX that Sprint uses. >Comment deleted<

I also have a problem in this. I have a rezound and it died completely yesterday. After 4-5 hours I got home to charge it, and when I did there wasn't one ounce of service on it. I figured letting it charge all night would be the answer, but this morning there is still no service whats going on? I can't even call Verizon to ask because of the no service problem ughhhhhh!!

I imagine he can't get into settings since he can't turn the phone on. MontainDrew having an Evo, Thunderbolt and now a Rezound, sometimes removing the battery and putting it back in solves this problem. After you put battery back in, try to reboot. Also you should see evidence (via led) that charging is now working. Best of luck!

I live in massachusetts and I am having trouble with my service since last night! I cannot send multimedia texts and my texting as of now isn't working at all. One second I have service and the next I don't. This is so frustrating! This is my only phone and verizon should fix this problem pronto. I'm paying good money to verizon for this damn phone! Its too much money to not have service for days! Rediculous!

<Comment deleted per TOS> I don't think 4G has ever been out across the nation. It hasn't been out in Atlanta since I got my Razr Maxx on January 21.

Who knew... I switched from ATT not too long ago, and of course after i get off ATT they get 4G... Verizon needs to get 4G here in Jackson, MS a big metro area... unlike the columbus and starville areas... gee... maybe i should consider going bak to ATT since verizon has more 4g cites, even tjo att does have jackson on 4g?

You may want to read this information about ATT and T-Mobiles so called 4G,
Verizon is the only company that is building their 4G network from the bottom up because 4G did not exist officially.. Sprint use WiMaxx which is Clear and T-Mobile and ATT uses HSPA+ which is nothing but a enhanced 3G connection.. Verizons LTE is the only network with real 4G connections speeds.
