Yes, but you can also get 10GB for $80.00. If your going to bash, bash with all the facts.
If anybody has been keeping up on the CES show right now, Verizon has been talking alot about how they are getting ready to change all the plans because of the other 4G devices they have coming out very soon.

I've been reading the posts regarding 4G and all I have to say is this......Think of Verizon 3G as a grocery store and 4G as a 7-11.........you are paying for the CONVENIENCE to use a faster network.....If you do not want to pay for the service DON'T USE IT..........I was really thinking of waiting for the new dual core Droid Bionic, but I think I will get a 3G phone and wait for the prices for 4G to drop, as well as the prices of the new phones......Verizon knows exactly what it is doing, reeling in all the little fish who are willing to buy into this new product...we should assume that everything that is coming forth will be in high demand requiring a high price tag.........we have a choice....take it..or leave it....

@kenteoth,
You said you won't get a 4G phone now, and you will wait for the 4G prices to drop. And I hear many others say stuff like that. Am I missing something? Did Verizon Wireless announce their 4G smartphone data prices? If not, why do people keep talking as if they know what the prices are by saying, "I will wait for the prices to drop", And they are gonna be overpriced, etc etc? We may assume that they will be priced higher than the $30/month 3G smartphone rates, but let's look at what they did with the broadband pricing as a fair indication. The broadband data pricing for 3G was $59.99/month for 5GB of data. People assumed that 4G data pricing would be considerably more. Yet, VZW has 4G broadband at $50/month for 5GB of data. So, they actually made it $9.99/month less than the 3G. So, I honestly wouldn't make assumptions as many have made.

Just like all of the official unofficial news about the phones, there are official official reports about Verizon's upcoming changes....use Google sometimes it really works....most of the issues we are discussing have turned from rumor to truth................

I've been keeping up with this a lot, but I made some actual points in my post that you seem to completely avoid. Do you mind sharing any of your sources that explain the assumptions that you have made? I've shared mine.

Well, I haven't shared because anything about everything regarding 4G, the phones and the plans are all over the internet. Just go to Google and you will find every article about the phones, plans, plan changes, policy changes and the current promotions. My post was a just a response to all of the other discussions about 4G and the hype with the phones and plans. I don't feel I have to prove my arguments to anyone, just go to Google and look for any information regarding this and you will understand that this is not about assumptions but about what can and may happen with Verizon in the very near future, and we as customers have a choice in how we deal with the upcoming plans Verizon has and we need to prepare ourselves on how we want to deal with VZW. I like the fact that there are assumptions out there because in dealing with cell phone companies, anything can change at anytime and a lot of things do happen that some of us customers "assume" will happen. I was going to wait for the new 4G cellphones another month because my eligibility dates are around the corner, and I am assuming that the policy changes and 4G changes could be more than what I want to deal with and all the discussion here about the possibilities of how much more we could pay looming, I want to make an educated decision on what I want to do for phone and data service. Even though Verizon has not made any "official" announcements yet, I feel that discussing things now and waiting for the official word will help me make a decision. Using Google also gives me some insight and I like seeing the fur flying until we see what actually will happen.

Since you have already done it..... I'll think it would help if you just posted one or two of the "official" official upcoming 4G Verizon pricing plans you have found while googling the topic.

He's definitely not gonna post anything, because he has nothing to post. That's why since I first asked him about his assumptions, he chose to write long paragraphs that indicate nothing about his assumptions. He assumed the 4G smartphone phone plans were gonna be too high based off of thin air. If there were all of this info from Google, he would have posted at least one solid example. What I did, is give tangible info, by showing the example of VZW's 4G broadband plans vs their 3G broadband plans, and showed how the 4G broadband plans are actually $9.99/month LESS. Yet, he has shown he bases his assumptions out of thin air. LOL, people like him are funny, because they say stuff like, "its too expensive" when no prices have even been leaked, then others read his posts and think the prices are too high, based off of his misleading rants. He's pure comedy, and he'll probably reply again, "I won't post any of the info, because it's already in Google". lol, I guess he thinks we are fools

It appears you are correct. I guess I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt or one last chance.....
What was I thinking, huh?
