4G on thunderbolt not showing up

hi guys 

i have a question , since about two weeks ago the 4G signal on my thunderbolt isnt showing up instead i get the 3G sign , does that mean im not getting 4G service ? how can i change it back ?

Are you in a 4G area?

Is you network setting at LTE/CDMA? go Menu > Settings > wireless & networks > mobile network settings > Network mode > LTE/CDMA
