Where is the 4G in downtown Knoxville, TN?  I have it at home 8 miles away....weird

It very inconvenient to not have the services where you need them. Please try removing the battery and retesting. 4G network is new in the Knoxville area please send me a PM and I will gladly further troubleshoot with you if you are still experiencing this issue
