OK, so WBOY Clarksburg has reported that the work atop the Hotel Morgan is near completion. However, they also reported that a Verizon rep was not able to give the news station any specific information concerning when the service would become active.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE let us, the paying customers, know when this service is going to be available in the Morgantown, WV area. We have been waiting FOREVER for this type of data service!! 1X just does not cut it anymore and the frustration level with Verizon Wireless is GROWING.

I have also been told that there is a delay with erecting additional towers in the area due to a conflict with Frontier Communications. Is this true? What do you know? Why is it impossible to get information out of you Verizon folks? We are dealing with cell phones here, not nuclear weapons!!! Tell us what is going on, please!!!

Thanks,

Bob

I couldn't agree more with everything that you say.  Twice though in the last two days, I have turned my data on, and it has came up with 4g.  I didn't know what to do the first time, because it actually worked like 4g, not the archaic 1x that I am so used to.  Then it the data network freaked out and went roaming, but the 4g would come back for a little, then after a while it would go away for good.

I would love to know what is going on, and this has been frustrating me in the MORGANTOWN, WEST VIRGINIA area for over 3 years now with the archaic 1x data.

So like was said above, it would be great to let the paying customers know some of the information as to what is going on with the 4g developments in North Central WEST VIRGINIA.
