Hey,
I have a 3G phone right now, as does everyone on my plan. Does anyone know if when I upgrade and get a 4g device if I will have an additional monthly charge? I've heard people say they got e extra charges and others say they didn't. If it helps, I currently have an iPhone 4 and am upgrading to the iPhone 5.
Thanks for any help,
Eric

If you upgrade your device there is a 30 dollar upgrade fee plus what ever the subsidized price of the phone you are getting is. For example if you were to get the 16gb Galaxy S3 model it is 299 if you are eligible for an upgrade + a $30 dollar upgrade fee, other than you just pay for your monthly data plan. This could change if you are on a family line because they are having people chose share everything plans now. Hope this helps.

I just upgraded from a 3g to a now 4g and I did not have an extra charge because its 4G, the extra came from the change in my plan because i had unlimited data and now i have 6GB shared plan. Not sure if that's what your asking,
