4g speed

i have an htc thunderbolt and the 4g speed is not so fast i keep receiving speeds from 2-3 mb per second on the speed tests from the app releeased by speedtest.net and i just want to know if somebody has having the same issue.

Since the firmware update on 10/29, I've not been able to connect to 4G at all. I also need to restart my phone to even get a 3G connection if I turn WiFi off; the option to turn wireless connection on (for VZ's data, not for WiFi) is grayed out.

Hi! I know the 4G speeds are important and I want to make sure its working. First, is this happening consistently in one location? You mention the speeds ranging from 2-3 Mbps, was this download or upload? The expectation of 4G/LTE speeds is 5-12 Mbps (download) and 2-5 Mbps (upload). The speedtest.net application that you are using should be supplying both download and upload speeds. Please advise more information so I and the community can help further!
