Help me understand how it is that we pay for 4G technology, however, only 3G is available in our area?
How exactly are you paying for the 4G technology? The price of the 3G and 4G data plans are the same.
As for why you don't have 4G in your area. Verizon Wireless has stated publicly that they intend to cover the 3G footprint with 4G by mid 2013 which is earlier then their previous estimate of the end of 2013.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Actually they plan to have 4G available in every market by mid 2013 and have their entire 3G footprint covered by the end of 2013.
Help me understand how you think you are paying for 4G.
