Are there settings for my mobile hotspot where I can assign ip addresses?

I was wondering if there were settings like logging onto the domain of a router. Is there a way to assign ip addesses to certain devices that connect? I am using my Gs3 phone. Any help would be appreciated.

Great question! There is not a way to assign an IP address to a particular device. You can control what devcies are able to connect to your mobile hotspot though the "Allowed devcie list". Settings>Mobile Hotspot (On)>Allowed device list.

Well I use my hotspot for my xbox when my internet is down. I have never had a problem before with using it, and now all of a sudden I have problems with my xbox not getting an ip address.

Has your hotspot recently completed any software updates? It's possible that the new software is not compatible with using Xbox.
