Recently got the LG 4g USB modem. Works great most places but not at my home. The program on my notebook shows 2 bars, It connects and then disconnects usually within 20 to 30 seconds. The Verizon may shows 4G coverage at my location. I tried 4 spots at my home some right next to a window. Same result.

Hello, If you are in a marginal 4G area, consider the solution offered in the following thread.
http://community.vzw.com/t5/4G-Discussion/is-there-a-way-to-switch-off-4g-temporarily/td-p/495910
While I'm at it, here's a message for the VZAM developers, since there seems to be no obvious way to compare 3G and 4G signal strength simultaneously in these devices, perhaps a manual "select" button is in order to force the mode. The "hidden" diagnostics menu is a bit technical for most users. But thank you for telling us about it - some of us early adopters are techies as you know.
