My phone has constantly been on LTE and only has on average 2 bars of service. It used to always show 4G, been it has been only on LTE for over a month now. Location doesn't seem to matter, it's the same everywhere. We have unlimited data, but I'm curious if actual data usage would affect this?

You are in the right place to get some help, Gchromis. The actual data usage has no effect on the type of signal your phone gets. In terms of network technology, 4G and LTE are exactly the same signal type. We want to be sure we address any service concerns for sure. How are calls, texts, and data on your device?
