It started a couple or three years ago
Suddenly big dead spots have appeared in the lake Sunapee nh region coinciding with the “tower upgrades “ (03284, 03751, 03773, 03257 etc) multi users multi accounts indoors and outdoors, driving and stationary
as well as areas that have always been 4 bars are now 1-3 bars
even SITTING at home where service has ALWAYS been a solid 4 bars it now cycles from one bar to three bars , you can actually watch it drop to one stay there for long or short time then cycle up to three but often staying at 1-2 bars for hours
Plan prices keep going up but service is going down and when you report the issue they just tell you there’s nothing going on

Just experienced this after Verizon switched to 5G on the tower on my property. Live 300 feet from tower (direct line of sight) and our iPhones are going into SOS frequently. Spoke to the Verizon contractor as they were finishing the transition up and they indicated that Verizon's 3 hour audit showed everything passed and all equipment was working properly. Contractor then realized their personal phones were doing the same thing. They made some calls to Verizon but Verizon didn't show any problems. Have spent hours on the phone with CS and they only want to follow the script of doing a network reset on each phone. Verizon contractor believes it is a programming error on Verizon's end. Frustrating!!

Rottlady, thank you for the info, and we're sorry for the delayed response on our side. What troubleshooting have you been able to try so far? We have a troubleshooting guide here: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile Just find your device, click "Troubleshoot" and there's an option that says "Device signal is unstable".
Once you troubleshoot, can you run a speed test and let us know what kind of upload/download speeds you get and if you have any problems with texts/calls?

Everyone has gone through all that and everyone in Verizon says nothing is wrong
places that traditionally have 3-4 bars of service now only have 1-2
you can be sitting still and watch the signal go from 3-4 bars to 0-1
at my home for example a long time solid 4 bar location only a mile from a tower
is now a 1-3 bar location and it cycles up and down
the region also has far more dead spots while driving than ever before
the signal in the region isn’t stable or reliable when for a decade it has been
it’s absolutely related to all this”tower work” you guys have been doing prepping for stupid 5g
service in the lake Sunapee nh region in 2024 is absolutely terrible compared to even a few years ago

We're sorry about the service issues you're having in Houston. Let's figure out what's been going on. Are you having these issues in any particular area of Houston? When did it start happening?

Customer service responded in messenger and after regurgitating same old stick answers they then said
Indoor reception isn’t guaranteed do to varying factors
THEN when I try to reply I get a popup saying I’ve exceeded my private message limit (I’ve messaged less than five times ever)
Its in AND outdoors
in a location that’s always had solid four bar service both in and out
see this is why this never gets fixed
basically saying everyone affected (many people)is wrong and this is just normal
its not normal for almost ten years it’s been a solid four bar area
the last year it’s gone to garbage
