My wife and I have been experiencing issues with our data connection at home.  We will see our connection cycle from 3G to 4G to 1X without moving.  As it cycles, we will see a delay where we basically have no connection at all, as it tries to switch. This appears to also cause an increased battery drain.  We use a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.  We are in the 38135 area code.  I do not see these problems outside of our home neighborhood.  We have had this issue both indoors and outdoors.  Any suggestions?

Hi Andrewd212,

A solid data connection is important! When did this issue start? Do you receive any error message  on the device? Does the device switch while in a particular application?

We have seen this issue get progressively worse over the last month. It

used to be intermittent, and now we see it daily. It does not seem limited

to a particular app. We have seen it with texting as well, where we

received failed to send messages. We have not seen any other messages than

that.
