Ok so it's definitely XLTE capable. If you want to know about VoLTE. If you have Advanced Calling 1.0 enabled o your device( has to be enabled on your account first ) and you can find another person with Advanced Calling enabled and make a call you'll see. Of course make sure both of you are in a 4G area. you'll know when you're making an HD call because their should be a HD symbol appear on the screen.

Yeah. I've already been taking advantage of the volte part of advanced calling. I just have to find another person with it. I believe a buddy of mine at work has it. I'll be getting ahold of him in the morning.
Like I said. Just wasn't sure if volte would drop when it switches bands. Glad to know it wont.

Verizon will be launching carrier aggregation in 2015 and the iPhone 6 supports that so it shouldn't really matter.
