LTE Network Extender losing range

I have a current generation Verizon branded LTE network extender that previously easily covered my whole house, now just barely a couple of rooms around where it's placed. No new technology installed to interfere with the signal.
I moved it a bit (awkward, since it needs a window for the GPS), rebooted in the process, and even factory reset, all with no help.
I noted it is quite warm to the touch, when I moved it, and I don't remember that from before...
Any suggestions?

Worked with customer support, new device on way, so seems like it was a less painful experience than I was expecting. A pleasant surprise. Thanks for the input, all....

I'm concerned about the getting hot problem. Since I don't have an extender, don't know much about them, but is there a software update for these things? It sounds like the extender is overworking itself somehow or there are too many things connected to it/using the service at the same time.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

I says very little bandwidth ever being used, and it reboots itself almost every night due to 'configuration change', which it has done since I set it up 9 mos ago, so I assume normal behavior. It has to have GPS satellites for position, but it has 9 or 10 it can see, so not struggling with that....

Have you looked at/increased the 'Transmit Power' in Settings->Advanced? It may be set too low.

Hello jrmathismd! Apart from what has already been discussed here, we would recommend using the GPS Antenna if you are not already doing so, to make it easier to have the unit itself placed in another location if needed.

Tried that. No help. Used to be fine where it was, covered whole house. Not now. Frustrating, I suspect radio burning out, now will probably have to brave the Customer Support ordeal...

Tech Support, after troubleshooting LTE Network Extender issues, has been responsive in replacing the device at no cost for me. When calling Customer Service, ask to be transferred to Technical Support. Good luck!
