I have a Droid HTC DNA. When I started using this phone the service was great. In the past month my 4g lte has been acting up no matter where I am. When connected to 4g my web apps won't load or take entirely too long. So long that if I go on the web browser it times out. The only reliable net is when I'm connected to 3g.
I have shut my phone down, tried uninstalling apps, and even checked my settings. I don't pay through the nose to have my upgraded smart phone operate only slightly better than my old Razor flip phone.

Have you noticed it worse at certain times of the day? I think Verizon has bottleneck issues during congested times such as lunch or rush hour. Despite good 4g LTE signal many people are reporting that the data service is very slow.

3pm or 3am and all the times in between. Doesn't seem to matter.

Hello HauntedMike,
Thank you for sharing your wireless concern with us. We want you to love and enjoy your wireless service. That is our commitment to you, our customer, and we want to refresh that commitment today. Let's start with what zip code are you in? Are you having any voice issues in the area? Can I assume that there isn't any liquid or physical damage on the device? As you share the details then we can work together and get this resolved for you. I'm looking forward to your reply.
Thank you...

My zip is 60115, but the issue is across multiple zip codes. It takes so long to connect on 4g that most of my web times out.
The phone is in perfect condition and my voice service works perfectly.

HauntedMike,
Been out to NIU a bunch of times. That being said, this must be a device issue. For starters, please clear temporary internet files http://vz.to/1gw2ktr . If that doesn't help, please enable safe mode http://vz.to/1db3qYX. That will disable third party apps and allow you to test so we can further isolate the issue.

I followed the instructions and I have no recent apps installed. All apps on my phone have been there for almost a year now. I don't see how this is a device issue, when clearly there are others experiencing the same problem.

Hahaha, I should have known better than to just copy/paste my post from a few days ago.
Oh well.
My reply was supposed to just be pointing out that VzW 4g has been super slow compared to competitor networks (in my case T-Mobile) in my area.
I've been picking up T-Mobile LTE sporadically, which is around 30mbps right now because no one is using it yet. I've been getting consistent 5+ mpbs on HPSA+, T-Mobile's "faux-g" service.
My coworker is getting 1mbps on Verizon LTE.
Something is clearly wrong if this is happening all over the place
