Verizon wireless..Why dont I get Data in the city?
I live in a suburban community , I have a Galaxy s3 .
When away from NYC... (Manhattan).I can stream videoes and music over the verizon network (not wifi) at blazing fast speeds.
The moment I enter the city my data drops to nothing...and this happens every day. Totally unusable data in the city.
I read an article about "Network Optimization" http://support.verizonwireless.com/information/data_disclosure.html
Now..I have an unlimited data plan (grandfathered) .. and..I am someone that uses more than 2gb a month.
Is Verizon Throttling my data usage in high traffic areas?

Network optimization applies to 3G, not 4G. My guess is that you're experiencing congestion when in the city.
