All freaking day. I've restarted my phone a few times, I've ensured correct roaming settings were in place. I can't even get a crappy 1x data signal?
I normally don't whine. I was in telecomm for 8 years and got out recently. But, I've never dealt with an ALL day issue on this magnitude in the 6th largest city in the country.

4G LTE is a different type of technology. If your phone can't connect it can't connect. You can only revert to 3g/1x if your phone can connect. People seem really confused by this and seem to think 4g is just faster, but it is an entirely different way for your phone to connect to the network.
Without that connection you can't do anything

I think (at least with some phones) there might be a bigger issue. I have the LG Revolution. I got the update to Android 2.3.4 to work on 2/27. Since that update, the network connection has hardly worked at all. This morning I got it working for a few minutes after removing the battery and powering back up. Looking at connections it was showing 1X and 4G with 4G coming and going. 3G would show sometimes when 4G flapped out. All of my apps reported 'no data or internet connection'. After looking at a few discussions, I went in and switched Network mode to CDMA only from LTE/CDMA. Now I have a good 3G connection and things work. So, even when I was showing a connection to 4G it would NOT work.
So, is this a problem with Verizon network, Android 2.3.4 or what? I have no idea...could even be related to some of the reported Verizon network problems or outages. I'll switch back occasionally to see when/if 4G starts working. I might even go to the Verizon store and see what they say. Not happy, but will be okay if 3G continues to work, but when will Verizon be held accountable for these issues?

I have no 4G,3G,2G,EVDO,1x or anything of that matter. I've had my Rezound less than a month and this is the only problem I've experienced. Going on day 4 with nothing but wifi at my house or where wifi is available. And here's the kicker, voice sms/mms don't always work when not on wifi for some reason. I know it shouldn't have anything to do with that but WTF VZW. Seriously, most reliable compared to what? I hope I don't need to make an emergency call when I can't connect to anything. And will there be credit issued? Because there should be if I'm not getting rendered services I pay high prices for.
