I knew I was getting very low on data for my hotspot, so I purchased extra add on data about 5 days ago. I was shocked when I tried to use it, Verizon would not let me. Instead, the extra 3 GB I paid $20.00 for, went into my account balance for the next month $50 plan.
If one purchase extra add on data, it is because they are running low on data and may not make it until the end of their billing cycle. When I bought the extra data, a message came up said I successfully added 3 GB to my plan. This is not right,
Don't buy additional data. You probably will not be able to use it, and I see on the forums it has happened to others before. I won't be renewing my plan.
