Northeast Corridor Sad Phone Service

My phone (Note 4) is essentially useless to me every
day for 45 minutes between Baltimore and Wilmington as I catch Amtrak. I’m
wondering if it’s the phone or the service. I had Verizon for 10 years and
never had this level of dissatisfaction with the service. Can someone tell me
if it’s the phone or the service? I’m seriously considering switching Carriers
do to the amount of money I spend a month with Verizon. Any suggestions would
be greatly appreciated.

I know how frustrating it can be when you experience difficulties with service acopeland. Let's get to the bottom of your service concerns because we certainly don't want to lose you. When did you start experiencing signal issues in this area? Are issues only when you are on the train? Has service always worked ok here?

I've noticed the service on the train getting increasingly worse within the

past month. There's another location within Baltimore that I have issues

with the service. That area is only magnified because it's en route to the

train station where my service really declines. I've never noticed a lapse

in service at this location in Baltimore or riding the train until

recently. I've been taking this route to work for the past 3 years.

I appreciate the additional details provided acopeland. When you get off the train does service improve? Due to the infrastructure and train build we can not guarantee service while on the train.

I think your previous response answered my question. It's clearly the phone

that's the issue. My previous phone (Nexus) worked fine between new York

and Washington. I could actually stream a movie uninterrupted using 4G

service between the two points on the train. Now with the Note, the phone

is barely usable for phone service between Baltimore and Wilmington, and

you dont guarentee service. Thanks for the response. I guess I'll intensify

my search for alternate options.
