I recently got a Verizon LTE Extender as I have terrible service at my home. When someone calls me and I am home, I hear them when I answer but they do not hear me. Same thing if I am out and about and I call my wife when she is home - she can not hear me. If she hangs up and calls me back it works fine. We both have iPhone 12. We both work from home and this is extremely frustrating. Yes, we have tried factory resets, turn phone off and on, airplane mode off and on - all the time consuming things Verizon customer service has you try over and over and over. For some reason wi-fi calling does not always work to get us a signal which is why we got the extender. Please help with a solution so I do have to call Verizon and be on the phone forever with no solutions.

TMetcalf1, w'er sorry for the issues you're encountering. The following link will provide you with additional information on how your extender will and should work: https://www.verizon.com/support/4g-lte-network-extender-faqs/

That was no help. The extender is hooked up and working. My issue is that when I get a call at home - they can not hear me even though I hear them. Sometimes after 2-3 attempts we can connect both sides.

We are not giving up. To better assist you, please tell us a little more. What model is your device and is the software up to date? Are you using Regular or Wi-Fi Calling? Did you recently install a new screen protector or case?

What's your signal strength when you're on cellular service? If you only have something like 1-2 bars even WITH the extender working, it's not really "working" because that means Verizon is just no good where you are and it's time to switch to another provider. Field test mode will give you exact details. If you're always hovering around the -115 to -120dBm or worse, calls won't work.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
