Samsung Galaxy S5 Notifications problem (with updated system)

So whenever I use mobile data, I can't receive push notifications from

social media apps. Also, sometimes... I can't even load/send/receive

snapchats But when I connect to a strong wifi and then go back to mobile

data, I can send/load/receive snapchats but I still can't receive snapchat

push notifications. I can't receive push notifications no matter what, only

on WiFi. I have to do this repeatedly and if I don't have WiFi, then I

won't be able to do anything with snapchat. I send can text messages,

tweet, and post instagram posts but not snapchats. I always have press

"tap to load" on snapchats before I can view them using mobile data.

I don't have the "Restrict Background Data" and the Access Point thing is

correct. I tried talking to a Verizon customer service person and when they

checked the connection there was nothing wrong. Do you think this problem

will be fixed after a new system update?

We are here to help you get all of your notifications. The problem that you described with Snapchat is a common defect with the application itself. You can uninstall and reinstall to see if that helps. The makers of the application are working on it, but I haven't seen any updates yet. As for "push notifications" I am not sure what you mean by this. Please provide clarification so we can better assist.

I tried deleting and uninstalling, but it didnt work. What I mean by push notifications is if I have the app closed or if I'm not in the app, I won't be able to receive a notification. For instance, I can't receive a notification when my phone is on standby or when I'm in my homescreen.
