This is from my home. I subscribe to AT&T Uverse with there fastest speed. Look at the differnce in the Latency numbers. The download spped is decent, but the upload is embarrasing to them if you ask me.

:smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: :smileyvery-happy: I have to laugh when I see that. Before you get too down in the dumps about yours, have a look at this. Bear in mind also that this is as good as I ever get from Roadrunner (DSL is even worse here) AND my best fried is head of all contruction here for Time Warner and has had them out here to put an entirely new, dedicated line in and a brand new Ubee modem. Oh, and the tap is only about 20' from my house.

upload speed is embarassing?  At nearly 3Mbps, that's pretty good.  Most home internet connections are likely less than that.

Compared to the competition in the Atlanta market it is low. I can get my service thru my cable company which is at 25.00 DL and 6UL. But, their reliability, stability is not very good. So I went with AT&T since it is very stable. I have not had one outage in over a year and thier modem/router throws out such a strong signal I can connect at full strength down at the pool in my subdivision which is about 400 feet away from my house. Yes, I do have very strong security on it!!!

I was in San Diego last week and got these results:

17.50MB download, 5.65 upload, 114ms ping.

Not real happy with the results here in Denver since Verizon advertises 5-12MB download speeds.

For the folks that are getting less than desired results using OOKLA try varying your server selection.  There is a tab at the bottom that says SETTINGS from there you can change the server,

In Houston, TX running to the Houston server the best I can do is about 12Mb down 4Mb up.

When I change to a Dallas server I can get as high as 44Mb down and 20Mb up.

Good point.

I'm getting around:

3.5 MB from the Denver server.

9MB from teh Colorado Springs Server

11MB from the Wooldland Spring Server

13MB from the Cheyenne server

All while sitting in the same spot.
