Suddenly no service at home location in Oakland hills

Starting yesterday my husband and I cannot make or receive phone calls when we are at home.  Phones work fine when we get down to the main road.

We have lived at this house for 2 1/2 years and always had very strong reliable coverage when at the house.  We both have iPhone 5S but I don't believe it is phone-related as it began for both of us at the same time.  We have tried disabling LTE, rebooting phones, resetting network settings.

Both phones either get a No Service indicator or 1x.  I have been able to get a couple of calls out the past 2 days but neither lasted more than about 30 seconds before getting a Call Failed notice and was unable to connect again.  When people call me it goes direct to voice mail.

I believe something is wrong with Verizon service.

My wife and I included.  We have several neighbors who have the same problems, doesn't matter which phone.  Verizon has given us the run-around for two weeks now.  It is fixed, not fixed... Open ticket, no ticket, ticket closed and opened... There is no cell tower node in that location, etc.  As I work from home and use Verizon for my business this is not a good thing.

We are in the lower Thornhill/ Gouldin/ Aspinwall area if anyone else is experiencing similar problems.

Update from my end:

We are on Gouldin.  My husband and I have been calling every other day to stay on them about it.  My first 2 tickets I opened I ended up getting told were closed, as well as getting dumb comments like it has to do with which direction the house faces (which makes no sense since we didn't move the house).  Now I have an open ticket that I keep calling to get an update on.  This current ticket has been open for over a week, and they are actually acknowledging to me on the phone that there is a problem and that it has been escalated to the higher levels.  This morning I was told there is now a parent ticket because there are multiple sub-tickets.  I was told there is a problem with a specific tower and they are working on it.  No time estimate for resolution.  I am considering it a positive that at least the ticket is still open and they are acknowledging a problem.

I went up to the location on (6655 Snake) two weeks ago and it looked like the cell tower power supply was vandalized.  There was some repairs done last week, but the PGE smartmeter is still missing from the box so I think it is not getting power.  I wish they'd fix it pronto.

I spoke to a neighbor this morning, and Verizon claimed there were no tickets as of 10AM, so they opened another ticket. How can the service centers be so disorganized?

Wonder if you are getting service now?  We came home late last night and noticed 4 bars and LTE on our phones.  Same thing this morning.  Sure hoping that is a final resolution.

Yes, we all are getting full bars here up at the top of the court.  I went and looked at the cell tower and the power meter was back in and installed.  I think it will be working for some time thankfully!
