When I mouse-over the "Phones & Devices" menu at the top of this page
the "4G USB Modems" is not a live link. (at least not on my machine).
What gives? Is Verizon holding off on new customers?

It's a category header, you can choose "learn" or "shop".

Grothka; Why would I take it as a conspiracy against me? I'm committed to the Pantech290 plan, at least for the next 2 years. If Verizon had wanted to adjust their marketing to their ability to deliver a product that performs as promised...
would have little to no effect on me. I'm committed. I must assume they are too.
