I run social media campaigns from my phone and am often uploading content to a variety of platforms. For example, I will create a 60-second short vertical video promoting a local business and then load that exact same video onto TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
The posts to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube go through quickly and efficiently. The exact same video then posting to TikTok can take 30 minutes to an hour or more. It is that slow even if I fully reboot my phone and only load TikTok. I am on a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. In talking with other users, I don't get a sense that it's a problem with the TikTok app.
Is Verizon handling TikTok traffic differently than it's handling the traffic to Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube?
