Top 5% 4G data users get throttled...

I want to know how much data usage would put me in that top 5% and get my speeds cut down?

I read that at the bottom of a 4G poster in a Verizon store in tiny print. 

They don't like to mention this when they talk about how fast it is.

The poster states they MAY, There official stance if you read the Optimization info sheet is they are NOT throttling ANY 4G devices at this time. This includes 4G devices used only on the 3G network.

If you Avg 50 GB a month, you can be throttled. I know, becuase I had to lower my use to get full speed back and stay there.

If your use is 100% on the phone, you should not see any throttling. I say should, becuase if you do 60GB in 13days. You are very likely going to be on that list.

If you checked your link... Someone said they used 100GB in less time and have not seen any drop or throttle.  I average just a little over 70GB a month without tethering

I just hit 7.5GB and bam 600kbs. Thats all I know, but I am glad they let you use 10x more with out issue.

That could be a problem in your area and not being throttled. Could anywhere from a DNS, NAT, or Verizon network itself. Hard to say

Do you think a verizon store would let me swap phones for 48 hours or so to see if I just have really bad luck or not?

Then it may be your device. A lot of people use more than what you use and do not get throttled...

If it is my phone, they won't give me a "new" one. Now I am on my 3rd ticket.

I dont know why you need some many tickets, if you have network opt feature the reps should be able to see it right there in black and white
