UML290 Constantly Disconnects.... still

So two years after this thread was active I'm still having the same problem: constant disconnects on a UML290 at least daily when paired with a MBR1200 router. The sad part is most reviews for other newer 4G modems at some point or another mention disconnects. Is this one of the permanent "features" of Verizon's 4G network?
