If I upgrade to the 10GB plan do I have to get another mobile hotspot device? Verizon website says something about an upgrade. Also could I downgrade back to 5GB if I decided I didn't want the 10GB anymore?

I am perplexed that we can use unlimited data with a smart phone from Verizon for $29.95, yet pay $50 for a stingy 5 gig for the 4glte. We also can call Verizon free from any mobilephone but we use our data at our cost to check our account via the 4glte. I would appreciate a resonse from Verizon

Because computers tend to have more data usage than most phones. They download large files and browse the web much easier. VZW has concluded that this pricing will get the average usage that the system can handle and that their pocket books can bear. In addition, you aren't supposed to be charged for data connections to VZW.com or your myvzw acct (at least last I remember seeing).

I can agree that the pricing is a bit out of line, but not by much.. compare it to other high speed internet services
