I recently ported to Verizon and frustrated to see Verizon internet doesn't work at all during a power outage. The whole point of the Verizon cellular data is so I could use it when not on Wi-Fi. Verizon's internet isn't just slow, it doesn't work at all during a power outage. Such a poor service and very disappointed.
If the tower and equipment associated with the tower doesn't have a backup power supply, the cellular network will not work.
