Visual Voicemail annoyance

I do not have 4G service at my house.  How can I get Visual Voicemail service to stop sending me a notification every 30 seconds that it cannot connect to the Visual Voicemail service?  I don't even have any voicemails to listen to!  I have to turn off my phone because it will not stop notifying me!

I can imagine the frustration you must have with the notifications of Visual Voicemail. We are here to help and resolve this. You can go into Settings/Applications (Manager) and disable the Visual Voicemail application. This will prevent you to receive the notifications.
