Why cant verizon be unlimited?

The only carrier that I always had coverage with was VZW no matter where I was or what building I was in.  None of the other 3 carriers could match that.

It's not that they can't be unlimited...they don't want to and obviously they don't have to.  And that's not an issue for most of us who choose to stay with VZW.  If you don't like their business model then part ways.  If T-Mobile serves you in the same capacity as VZW in your area...then peace out!

Revolution you say?  It'll be years before that happens.  I think that unlimited 3G would have been nice with a cap on 4G, but whatever.

Some carriers or MVNOs may offer "unlimited data" but typically that means you get x amount of high speed data before they throttle your data speed.  If you don't like VZW then go to another provider.
