Will Not Switch From 3G To 4G Even If Unplugging?

The only way I can get onto the 4G from 3G is to go inside the diagvzw and change it to LTE only. Any ideas? Heck, I have done it so many times I don't even remember what the default settings are supposed to be! I am in and out of the 3 and 4G networks all day with work in my vehicle.
I am using the LG. I will admit, the 4G speeds and reliability are outstanding. I am very impressed with the 4G, been using the 3G for years with my embedded GOBI. Been kinda spoiled not having to lug around a USB Dongle. LOL
Any help or ideas out there?
