This is just sort of a shout into the wilderness.
I work at NASA Headquarters at 300 E Street SW in Washington DC. I am within sight of the US. Capitol and near a massive Verizon infrastructure building on the Southwest Freeway.
Verizon coverage within the building is nearly nil. With a 4G LTE device, I am lucky to get a couple of bars of 3G. Today I can get only 1xRTT. It's like going back in time. Vendors bring Verizon hotspots into the building to give demonstrations, and are unable to do so.
In the same in-building locations, AT&T service is 4G, 4 bars. It is now common knowledge that, if you want it to work in the building, you should order AT&T, and not Verizon. Thought you might like to know that.
I have a phone that I can barely use, and a hotspot that I cannot use at all while at work, so I would appreciate some service. I take the same phone home to a fringe area (Chesapeake western shore), and there I have 4G!
