I received a call supposedly from Verizon stating that I would have a credit applied to my account next month by going to their certain website & signing in, has anyone else received a call of this nature? I am just wandering if it is true or a scam of some sort.
It's a scam. One that has been popping up here and there over the past few months. The website keeps changing.

catyler, this is a mystery to us too. Let's check it out. You can dial #BAL from your device to verify any credits applied and recent payments made to your account. You may also sign in online at My Verizon, http://bit.ly/xB4iTc to verify the current balance on your account as well. At this time, we are not making any telemarketing calls with offers to issue credits for accessing a website. I apologize for any alert this matter may have caused you.
