Have 3G unlimited plan with USB drive, How can I upgrade to 4G without losing my unlimited plan.
I was told to buy 4G USB but when I tried activating it, was told it would change my plan so it wouldn't be unlimited.
Anyone upgrade without having unlimited being affected/

Unfortunately you can't. All of the 4G LTE capable USB or Jetpack (mifi) mobile broadband devices require a plan change to a tiered (data cap) plan. This has been the Verizon Wireless policy since 2010 when the first 4G LTE USB device was announced. You can stay grandfathered in the unlimited mobile broadband data plan as long as you continue to use a 3G EDVO only mobile broadband device.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
